Lots going on at Heritage…

Preliminary rounds of the Geography Bee fourth through eight grade classroom winners.

LONGMEADOW — Heritage Academy recently held its annual Geography Bee and Cultural Fair.  Preliminary rounds of the Geography Bee fourth through eight grade classroom winners were: Micah Pava, Saadya Chevan, David Yashgur, Gabriel Katz, Victor Weir, Matan Dragon, Avivit Armon, Emily Dash, Arianna Bouchard, and Gabby Caron. Saadya Chevan won the school competition but is leaving for a semester in Africa with his family. Matan Dragon, second place winner, will take the state qualifying exam in Saadya’s place.
Heritage Academy students also worked extra hard in class and in the school’s art room to create an elaborate display of projects for their annual cultural fair. Seen here, below, are flags from various nations around the world.
