A Purim Mitzvah

To celebrate Purim this year, Heritage Academy students took a break from the traditional festivities to make sandwiches for their hungry neighbors. Students in grades five through eight teamed up with Rachel’s Table, the hunger relief agency, to prepare 77 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for residents of the Springfield Rescue Mission, an emergency shelter in downtown Springfield.
