Netta (Kripke) Stern, 63, died March 30 in Stamford, Conn., surrounded by her loving family after a five-year struggle with ovarian cancer. She was the wife of Yossi Stern. Born in Omaha, Neb., she was the daughter of Rabbi Myer Kripke of Omaha, NE and the late Dorothy Karp Kripke. She was a graduate of the University of Chicago (1971) and Columbia University, where she got a Master’s Degree in Social Work (2000). She was a psychotherapist with the Connecticut Jewish Family Services for 11 years. In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by a son, Gil, of Brookfield, Conn.,; a daughter, Tamar, of Trumbull, Conn.; siblings, Saul and Madeline, both of New York, N.Y.; and many cousins.
