Sylvia (Rubin) Frank of Springfield died March 28. She was the widow of Harold Frank. A graduate of the Hartford School of Nursing, she served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps in London during World War II and lived in Japan while Harold served in the Korean War before settling in Springfield and working for many years as a nurse at Wesson Maternity Hospital. Since her retirement, she was a volunteer docent at the Springfield Art Museum. She is survived by two sons, Sandy and his wife, Pamela, of Calabasas, CA, and Eric and his wife, Sari, of Northridge, CA; four grandchildren, Priscilla, Harley, Micaela, and Aden; a sister, Caroline Skerker of Springfield; and two brothers, Leonard Rubin and his wife, Claire, of Waitsfield, VT, and Milton Rubin and his wife, Norma, of Bradenton, FL.
