Louis Berman, 93, of West Palm Beach, FL formerly of Longmeadow and Albany, NY, died May 9. He was the widower of Lillian Berman. Born in Burlington, VT., he was the son of the late Gussie and Henry Berman. He moved to New York City as a young child and graduated from George Washington High School in Manhattan and from NYU with a degree in Mathematics. His family then moved to Albany where their company, Berman & Sons Rendering was established. It was eventually sold to CORENCO from where he retired. He served as a Captain in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He graduated from Yale University Army Air Forces Technical Training Command and served as a navigator on airborne troop transports in England and France. He retired from the Air Force Reserve with a rank of Major. He is survived by two children, Rosalind (Robert) Coglianese and Geoffrey (Jayne) Berman; three grandsons, Adam Coglianese, Lee Berman and David Berman; and one great-grandson, Ethan Coglianese.
