Suzanne (Leinwander) Lieberman

Suzanne (Leinwander) Lieberman, 81, of Springfield, died July 5 at Wingate of East Longmeadow. She was the wife of Joseph Lieberman. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she was the daughter of Milton and Rose Leinwander. She was a graduate of Scarborough School where she played tennis and field hockey. She attended Columbia University. She lived in Springfield since 1963. She was a bookkeeper in New York and Florida and after moving to Springfield became a homemaker and worked at the former Steiger’s Dept. Store.  She was a member of the former B’nai Jacob Synagogue where she was a past treasurer and member of their sisterhood, member of Temple Beth El and the Springfield JCC and their Silver Foxes and Belles. In addition to her husband of 53 years, she is survived by a daughter, Deborah (Jeff) Ginsberg of Springfield; a son, David (Jackie) Lieberman of Enfield, Conn.; grandchildren, Joshua Lieberman, Jesse Bulgier, Dannielle Man,  Megan Williams; and a great-grandson,  Isaiah Williams. She was predeceased by a daughter, Beth Alissa.
