Jacob Krainson Earns the Boy Scout Eagle Rank

SPRINGFIELD – Jacob Krainson, a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 32, was awarded the rank of Boy Scout Eagle Rank on Jan. 15 at Temple Beth El. Jacob, 16, and a junior at Longmeadow High School serves as the Senior Patrol Leader in the troop. His responsibilities include planning the weekly meetings, teaching advancement to younger scouts, organizing all aspects of a campout. Last summer he served as a BSA Life Guard at the Boy Scout Reservation Massawepie in the western Adirondacks.

He has been in scouting since first grade when he was a Tiger Cub Scout.

BSA Troop 32 which has been chartered by Temple Beth El since 1924.
