Heritage Trip to Israel is Life Changing

LONGMEADOW — Late last month, Heritage Academy’s seventh and eighth grade students returned from what they called a “life changing” experience in Israel.  The students spent two weeks traveling to various cities and historical tourist attractions including Bet Guvrin, Hezekiah Tunnels, Yad VaShem, Golan Heights, Masada, and the Dead Sea. The students were accompanied by Tali Edry, Heritage Academy’s Judaic teacher, and Deborah Bromberg-Seltzer, Heritage Academy’s director of Judaic Studies. “It was life changing,” said Gabriel Katz, a Heritage seventh grader. “Israel won’t just be a place on a map.  It will now have memories attached.” Photo Credit: Deborah Bromberg-Seltzer & Tali Edry
