Gerald Sidney “Sonny” Grant  of Florence and Boca Raton, Fla., died June 13. He was the husband of Bernyce August Bauver Grant. Born in Springfield, he was the son of Samuel and Lena Grant. He graduated from Springfield Technical High School in 1947, and then worked at Shankman’s Drug Store in Springfield. He founded Northeast Aerial Advertising and later co-founded B and G Associates, a paper goods and office supply company and the first licensed export company in western Massachusetts. After his father’s death, Gerry was the caretaker of the Sons of Israel Cemetery in Springfield. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Mel Grant; a sister, Eunice Kofsky and her husband, Murray; many  nieces and nephews; and a cousin, Dr. Harvey Grant. He was predeceased by his brothers Birney and Phil, and his sisters Edna, Beatrice, and Jessie. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 59 Bobala Rd.,
