Esther Sara Chereskin Burrows of Longmeadow died Nov. 4th at home. She was the wife of Bill Burrows for 43 years. Born in Longmeadow in 1925, she was the daughter of Dr. Johnston and Leah (Cohen) Chereskin. She was a graduate of Classical High School and Mary Washington College, the Women’s Division of the University of Virginia. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Wm. Burrows Florist, Inc. in Longmeadow for 28 years. She was a past member of Brandeis University, Society of William Rice, Crestview Country Club, Longmeadow Country Club, Jewish Nursing Home, Temple Beth El, and the Colony Club. She is survived by a daughter, Myra Lee (Swirsky) Judd and her husband, Peter Chapin Judd; two grandsons, Jeffrey David Judd and his wife, Victoria, (Cloutier), Matthew Chapin Judd and his wife, Cristina (Alexopoulos); and a brother, Dr. Frank Chereskin and his wife, Audrey Bratman; and many cousins, nieces and nephews, their spouses and children.
