Helping the victims of Hurricane Sandy

As the devastation inflicted by Hurricane Sandy on those living in parts of Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania continues, several Jewish organizations have jumped into action to lend a helping hand.
Locally, donors may contribute to the local Federation’s Hurricane Relief Fund by mailing your donation to Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts, 1160 Dickinson St., Springfield, MA 01106, or directly to the Jewish Federations of North America Hurricane Relief Fund through the online donation form at http://JFeds.org/SandyRelief.
Here are just some of the Jewish organizations who have set up relief funds and are accepting donations:
Chabad-Lubavitch – www.chabad.org
National Council of Young Israel – www.youngisrael.org
The Orthodox Union (OU) – www.ou.org
Union of Reform Judaism (URJ) – www.urj.org
