Youth Theater at the JCC Rocks!

SPRINGFIELD – Under Amy Kimball’s direction, Theatrix is the Springfield JCC’s year round drama club for teens in 8th – 12th grade that performs throughout the year usually in a play or one act festival, a musical or revue, and volunteers to help with the children’s productions. The musical this year has not yet been picked because the Theatrix members will help plan out the year. Everyone in Theatrix can be in everything they choose but auditions are required to cast the shows effectively. Annual registration costs $75 for JCC members and $100 for the general public. Theatrix teens will help be the judges for the “JCC’s Got Talent” event on Nov 18, from 1 – 2:30 pm. For more information and/or to RSVP to be a judge or crew at the talent show and to attend the first meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 20, 6:30 p.m, contact Amy Kimball, Teen Director, at akimball@springfieldjcc.org or (413) 739-4715 ext 322.
