Winer

Albert Winer, 88, of Longmeadow, has died. He was born in  Three Rivers, and moved to Palmer as a young boy. After graduating high school, he served in the Navy during World War II. After the war, he attended UMass Amherst under the GI Bill, earning a degree in engineering. During the Korean War, he served in the Air Force. Upon returning, he worked as an electrical engineer.  He s survived by a sister, Miriam Sack; and 18 nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions can be made to Cong. B’nai Torah, 2 Eunice Dr., Longmeadow, MA 01106; or to Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy, 1148 Converse St., Longmeadow, MA 01106.
