Thelma Schreiber of Longmeadow died May 1 at a local nursing home. Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Jacob H. and Gladys Schreiber. She was a graduate of the high school of commerce and commerce evening school. She was employed by the Springfield Armory and Springfield Ordinance District. Later she became associated with the firm of Schrieber & Co. Realtors until her retirement. She was a member of the Springfield Jewish Community Center. During World War II, she was a USO hostess. She is survived by a brother, Leonard Schreiber of Enfield, Conn.; and three sisters, Betty (Melvin) Zeidenberg of Hamden, Conn., Ruth (Mark) Feinberg of Avon, Conn., and Florence Rosenbluth of Bloomfield, Conn. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Schreiber on April 18.
