Jerry Simon, 78, of Longmeadow, died March 12 at Baystate Medical Center. He was the widower of Ilean (Zuckerman) Simon. He was the son of the late Abraham and Anna Simon and was raised in Brooklyn, NY. He was a lifelong member of the Brownville Boys Club and a graduate of the City College of New York. He served in the Army from 1960 to 1963. He was one of the first Pulsar reps in the country. He was awarded numerous awards, including the salesman of the year in 1986 from Pulsar and also honored by the CT Jewelers Assn. as salesman of the year. He was a member of Temple Beth El for many years. He is survived by two daughters, Roberta (Bern) Goodman and Abby (Gary) Goodman; a sister, Elaine (Gil) Chesnov; four grandchildren, Alec, Emily, Brandon, and Yasmine; and many nieces and nephews.
