SPRINGFIELD – As a culmination of its Centennial festivities, Temple Beth El will hold a Gala “Evening of Celebration” on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. The event will feature the music of New York City’s celebrated Shalom Orchestra, performing both popular and Israeli music.
In addition to cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner provided by Chez Josef, and dancing, the event will feature a video montage of life-cycle events that have taken place at the temple over the past 100 years. The temple will be transformed with flowers and decor befitting a Centennial celebration of two joined congregations, B’nai Jacob and Beth El. Gala Co-Chairs Alissa Korn and Beverly Nadler and their committee have been planning this very special event for almost two years and expect a large turnout.
The cost of the event is $54 per person, or $118 per person for patrons. Patron tickets will include two complimentary drink tickets and complimentary bottles of red and white wine will be provided at each table. Guests may reserve tables of eight. All Gala tickets can be purchased at the Temple Beth El office at 979 Dickinson St.
Sponsors for this event are Harold Grinspoon and Diane Troderman, the Grodsky family, Steven and Alissa Korn, Barry and Jane Schulman, Jonathan and Susan Goldsmith and Marcus Printing.
