Bettirose Eisner, 86, of Longmeadow, died Sept. 16 at Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Myron M. Eisner. Born in Pittsfield, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Rebecca (Lubetsky) Horelly. She graduated from Pittsfield High School, went to the University of Indiana and Boston University, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Later in life she attained a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Westfield State University. She worked for several years as a substitute teacher in the Springfield school system. She taught special education classes for the state of Massachusetts until her retirement. She was a religious teacher at Beth El Synagogue in Springfield for many years. She is survived by two children, Dr. Deborah Eisner of Haverhill, and Dr. Richard Eisner and his wife Therese (Champagne) Eisner of Salem; two grandchildren, Rebecca Carver of Charlotte, N.C. and Michael Eisner of Salem; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Nathan Horelly, Jeanne Perlman, Sophie Goldstein, Max Horelly and Harry Horelly. Memorial contributions may be made to the Etz Hayin Synagogue, 1 Hood Rd., Derry, NH 03038; The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, 8201 Corporate Drive, Suite 1000,
