Jon Weber, 66, of Woodstock, Vermont, died Sept. 2 after a brave battle with cancer. He was the husband of Anne Weber. Born in Springfield, he was the son of Sam and Sylvia Weber. He graduated from Classical High School and attended American University in Washington, D.C. While there, he formed a band and eventually he got a job playing lead guitar with “Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks”, a well-known California group.

After returning to the East coast, he settled in Woodstock, established a health food store, and also worked at the Developmental Center sharing his music with kids and driving their bus. He also sold real estate. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Danielle; his twin sister, Nancy Bravin; a brother, Robert Weber; and an aunt, Thelma Mather.
