Joe Aronof, 93, died on Nov. 4t at the Jewish Healthcare Center. He was predeceased by his wife Fannie (Behar) Aronof. Born in Batum, Georgia, Russia, he was the son of Rabbi Asher and Malda (Janaschwili) Aronof. He lived in both Turkey and Israel before moving to Worcester in 1965. He is survived by a daughter, Malka and her husband, Leon Sebag, of Worcester; a son, Asher Aronof and his wife, Felice, of Westboro; grandchildren, David Sebag and his wife, Malee, of New York City, Susan, and her husband, Eddie Carter, of Worcester and Andrew Aronof and Isabelle Aronof, both of Westboro; and great-grandchildren, Divinity, Luna and August. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
