Vivian B. (Steinberg) Sigel, 85, of Worcester and Highland Park, Fla., died Dec. 9 at her Cape Cod residence after an illness. She was the widow of Morton H. Sigel. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Hyman and Mollie (Rovner) Sigel. She graduated from Hebrew College in Boston and for many years taught at Beth Israel Synagogue’s Hebrew School. She was a member of Beth Israel Synagogue and its Sisterhood and was a Lion of Judah of the Worcester Jewish Federation, ORT, Hadassah, Worcester Art Museum and Worcester Foundation for Biomedical Research. She is survived by three children, Robert Sigel and his wife, Susan, of Mashpee, Deborah, and her husband, Jonathan Sloane, of Cotuit, and Jonathan Sigel and his wife, Lisa, of Westboro; a brother, Norman Steinberg and his wife, Tonya, of Boca Raton, Fla.; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Morton Steinberg.
