Edward J. Greenspan, 90, of North Andover, died Feb. 16. He was predeceased by his wives Sonia “Sunny” (Baker) Greenspan and Selma (Ruskin) Greenspan. Born in Holyoke, he was the son of the late Abraham and Clara (Meyer) Greenspan. He was an attorney and Certified Public Accountant. A Holyoke High graduate, he studied at Massachusetts State College then served in World War II on the island of Kwajalein. He graduated from Boston University in 1947 and Harvard Law School in 1950. He practiced law and accountancy in Holyoke with his father and his uncle, the late Samuel Greenspan, for four decades. He was a member of Congregations Sons of Zion and Rodphey Sholom in Holyoke and Temple Emanuel in Andover. He is survived by two daughters, Judith Greenspan of Belmont, and Jennifer Hurwitz and her husband, Daniel, of Bedford; his step-children, Paula Leed and her husband, Richard Aron, and Steven Leed and his wife, Elizabeth, all of Andover; and his grandchildren, Joshua Greenspan, Ronia and Addie Hurwitz, and Bernard and Caroline Leed.
