Stanley Levine, 91, of Worcester, died Oct. 19. Born in Worcester, he was the son of Abraham and Rose (Krock) Levine. He was predeceased by his wife, Madeline S. Idlis. He was a graduate of Classical High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army upon graduation where he served as a corporal in the 2074th Quartermaster Truck Company Unit.  He served in the Pacific theater and was among the first soldiers to set foot on Japanese soil after their surrender. His professional career included ownership in Neponset Dry Cleaning and Fur Storage, and a long tenure at Commonwealth Stationers and Deerfield Press. He is survived by five children, Bernard (Buzzy), Richard (Rick), Elliot, Rachael and Robert (Duke); eight grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
