Milton M. Kaplan, 91, of Longmeadow died Nov. 21 at the Jewish Nursing Home of Western Massachusetts. He was the widower of Eileen (Levi) Kaplan. He attended Commerce High School and the University of Massachusetts. After returning from his duty in the Air Force, Milton received his Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts. He went on to work as a chemist for the Country Club Soda Company, where he later became the Vice President in charge of Plant Operations. He is survived by two children, Joan Levi and her husband, Melvin, of Avon, Conn., and Gary Kaplan and his wife, Janet, of Downingtown, Penn., two sisters, Janet Black and Lillian Mandell; two brothers, Samuel and Harry Kaplan; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Ida Kaplan and brother, William Kaplan.
