JLI explores the Origins of Judaism

SPRINGFIELD – The Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI) and Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy (LYA) will present Judaism Decoded: The Origins and Evolution of Jewish Tradition, a new six-week spring course which will uncover the unique formula that has sustained Jewish tradition for millennia.

Rabbi Yakov Wolff will conduct the six-course session beginning Wednesday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. at LYA, 1148 Converse St. in Longmeadow. Judaism Decoded will also be offered at the law offices of James Smith, 1331 Main St. in Springfield for six consecutive Thursdays beginning May 7 from 12:45 – 1:45 p.m. The fee for the course, which includes a student textbook, is $100 with a couple’s price of $180.

Judaism Decoded is for people at all levels of Jewish knowledge, including those without any prior experience or background in Jewish learning. All courses are open to the public.
