Students at Heritage Academy prepared for Passover this year in many ways. In art class, the children made a special glass for Eliah that will be a part of their seder table at home. They baked matzah with the help of local rabbis Lavy Kosofsky, Mayer Kosofsky and Yehoshua Wolff. The Home Depot crew from Hadley came to Heritage Academy with 16-inch wooden plates specially prepared so that each student had their own seder plate to decorate. Heritage middle school students were busy being mensches – helping to prepare Pesach food for families in need through Jewish Family Service of Western Mass. Students from grades 4&5 led a model seder in which parents, family and friends came together in the school cafeteria to celebrate.
