Women’s Philanthropy seeks grant proposals benefitting Jewish Women and Girls

SPRINGFIELD – Women’s Philanthropy has issued a call for applications for the distribution of $15,000 from the NEFESH Fund (“the Fund”) to programs and initiatives that better the lives of Jewish women and girls locally and overseas. The Fund offers grants to applicants who demonstrate a proven capability of empowering and harnessing the potential of Jewish women and girls through education, supportive services and crisis intervention.

The Fund, established and distributed by the Jewish Endowment Foundation (JEF), is made possible thanks to the philanthropic contributions of compassionate women dedicated to meeting these needs working with organizations showing evidence or promise for meaningful impact.

The JFWM will begin accepting proposals immediately and will consider funding opportunities designated for use in 2015 and 2016. All grant applications are due no later than Friday, May 29th.
