Additional Shavuot Services

LONGMEADOW – Shavuot will be celebration at Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy (LYA), 1148 Converse St., Sunday, May 24, with services 10 a.m. The Ten Commandments will be read at 11 a.m., and a festive luncheon and ice cream party will takle place at 1 p.m. ($9/adult, $5/child, $30/family price- payment is requested before the start of the holiday) RSVP: by May 20: (413) 567-8665 or

WORCESTER – Shaarai Torah West Shavuot, 835 Pleasant St., will be held Saturday night, May 23, with mincha, maariv at 7:45 p.m., followed by Shavuot learning and snacks to follow.On Sunday, May 24, there will be a service at 9:30 a.m. with special Torah reading of the Ten Commandments, followed by festive Kiddush; Monday, May 25, service, 9:30 a.m. and Yizkor service followed by festive Kiddush.
