Phyllis (Barr) Lutz, 89, of Longmeadow, died July 26 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Arthur Lutz. Raised in Springfield, she worked for many years as the head of the bond department for Springfield National Bank.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Cindy Lutz Kornet and her husband, Louis; a daughter Susan Fagin; grandchildren  Nathaniel Kornet, Todd Adelson and his wife, Manuela, Brett Fagin and his wife, Kathryn; three great-grandchildren Taylor, Emma, and Sam; three sisters Thelma, Helen, and Naomi; two brothers, Pat and Arnold; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Beth El in Springfield and the Jewish Nursing Home in Longmeadow. ASCHER-ZIMMERMAN FUNERAL HOME
