JLI Offers a New Fall Course – Journey of the Soul

SPRINGFIELD/LONGMEADOW – Beginning Oct. 28, the Jewish Learning Institute and Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy (LYA) will present The Journey of the Soul, the institute’s new six-session fall course. The classes, which will be held for six consecutive Wednesdays, will be held at 7:30 p.m., at LYA, 1148 Converse St., in Longmeadow.

The Journey of the Soul is being co-sponsored by Ascher Zimmerman Funeral Home, Inc.

Journey of the Soul will also be offered at the law offices of James Smith, 1331 Main St. in Springfield for six consecutive Thursdays beginning Oct. 29 from 12:45 – 1:45 p.m.

Like all previous JLI programs, Journey of the Soul is designed to appeal to people at all levels of Jewish knowledge, including those without any prior experience or background in Jewish learning. All JLI courses are open to the public, and attendees need not be affiliated with a particular synagogue, temple, or other house of worship.

The fee for the course, which includes a student textbook, is $100 with a couple’s price of $180.
