It takes a village

Teens_AdoptVillage2Springfield JCC teens, in partnership with Baystate OBGYN, Longmeadow High School, East Longmeadow High School, and B’nai B’rith Youth Organization (BBYO) are helping families through the annual Adopt A Village program. For the third year in a row, teens at the Springfield JCC have partnered with The Massachusetts Migrant Education Program, as well as Jewish Family Services, to help local families with needed items such as coats, clothing and gifts.

“This program typically provides for more than 10 local families in need during the holiday season,” says Louis Lasso, teen coordinator at the Springfield JCC.
