Ruth (Brookman) Berman, 90, of Framingham, formerly of Worcester, died Feb. 9. She was the widow of Donald Berman. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of George and Ann (Hirsch) Brookman. She had been a secretary for Modern Manufacturing for many years. She was a longtime member of Temple Emanuel, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish Health Care Center and the National Council of Jewish Women. She had been a volunteer at Potter Road School in Framingham. She is survived by a daughter, Lynda Venet and her husband, Harold Sock, of Framingham; a son, Michael Berman of Fountain Valley, Calif.; a brother, Robert Brookman, and his wife, Ellen, of Providence, RI; two grandchildren, Eric Venet of Newton, and Brandon Berman and his wife, Candice, of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one great-grandson, Jaxon Berman; and nieces and nephews.
