Irving Morris Feldman, 88, of Longmeadow, died Feb. 29. He was the husband of Phyllis (Gloth) Feldman. Born in Springfield, he was the son of Celia (Tannenbaum) and Frank Feldman. He and his brothers worked in the family business, Feldman Bros. Fruit & Produce Company and the Plumtree Food Shoppe for many years, before he transitioned to the real estate business. He volunteered for more than 15 years at Baystate Hospital wheeling patients until his knees finally tired. In addition to Phyllis, his wife of 66 years, he is survived by three children, Sandy Merrill and her husband, Ed, of Longmeadow, Sharon Fee and her husband, Paul, of Enfield, Conn., and Alan Feldman and his wife, Miriam, of Cherry Hill, N.J.; six grandchildren, Eric (Kerri) Merrill, Shari (Jon Temerlies) Merrill, Melanie Feen, and Joanna, Alex and Amanda Feldman; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Addison Merrill. He was predeceased by two sisters, Sarah (Isadore) Klein and Frances (Meyer) Zaitshik; and two brothers, Julius “Hooky” (Evelyn) Feldman and Meyer “Mike” (Dottie) Feldman.
