From Mahkela to Fenway!

Bill Squires of Longmeadow sang “God Bless America” during the seventh inning stretch of the Boston Red Sox — Seattle Mariners baseball game at Fenway Park on Father’s Day, June 19.  He has sung the “Star-Spangled Banner,” “O Canada,” and “God Bless America” at more than 280 events throughout the East Coast, including TD Garden in Boston; Gillette Stadium; Mohegan Sun Arena; Amway Center in Orlando; and at Florida spring training games for the Washington Nationals, Houston Astros, and Detroit Tigers. He is a member of Mak’hela, the Jewish Chorus of Western Massachusetts.
