Trips with the Springfield JCC

GREATER SPRINGFIELD – Life Lessons, the William & Margery Sadowsky Center for Adult Learning at the Springfield Jewish Community Center is offering several day trips:

• An afternoon at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center as the New York City Ballet performs Jewels a three-act ballet created by George Balanchine on Thursday, July 28, 9:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. The trip includes transportation, driver gratuity and lunch at Longfellow’s Restaurant. The cost is $115 for JCC members, Glenmeadow residents and past trip participants, or $120 for the general public. This trip is co-sponsored by Glenmeadow Retirement.

• Bye Bye Birdie on Wednesday, Aug. 17 at the Goodspeed Opera House. The trip includes transportation, orchestra seat, driver gratuity and lunch at the Griswold Inn.  The cost is $120 for JCC members and past trip participants, or $125 for the general public.

• A narrated trip on Boston Duck Tours on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  Includes transportation, driver gratuity, Duck Tour and lunch at Maggiano’s in Little Italy.  The cost is $100 for JCC members or $105 for the general public.

• A day on your own in Boston on Wednesday, Sept. 21. The bus will depart the JCC at 8:30 a.m. and will return at 4:30 p.m. The cost is $30 for JCC members or $35 for the general public.

• The musical Chasing Rainbows: The Road to Oz on Thursday, Oct. 27 at Goodspeed. The trip includes transportation, orchestra seat, driver gratuity and lunch at the Gelston House. The cost is $120 for JCC members, Glenmeadow residents and past trip participants; or $125 for the general public.  This event is co-sponsored by Glenmeadow Retirement.

• New York on Your Own on Sunday, Oct. 9 and Sunday Nov. 13, 8:45 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.  The cost is $50 for JCC members or $60 for the general public.
