Nathan M. Grace, 81, of Holden, died July 28 at his residence following a short illness. He was the husband of Barbara (Bouvier) Mercier Grace. Born in Worcester, he was the son of Charles and Anna (Mowshowitz) Grace, and lived in Worcester for most of his life moving to Holden a number of years ago. He graduated from Worcester Academy, Brown University and Boston University School of Law. He practiced law in Worcester for 35 years, until his retirement in 1996. He also owned Sixth Avenue Construction Co. for about 20 years. He was a member of Temple Emanuel Sinai and was a 50-year member of the Level Lodge of Masons. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Meredith Reichheld and her husband, Robert, of Shrewsbury; a son, Charles Grace and his partner, Sara, of Needham; a stepson, Kenneth Mercier and his wife, Andrea, of Marlborough; three stepdaughters, Dianne Kasprzak and her husband, Len, of Charlton, Pamela Hemming and her husband, Scott, of Webster, and Jacqueline Vessella and her husband, Mark, of Dudley; eight grandchildren, Jena, Lillian, Marshall, Taryn, Courtney, Patrick, Matthew and Zachary; his stepmother, Sonia (Mowshowitz) Grace Pliner; a brother, Arthur Grace and his wife, Debra of Ojai, Calif.; two sisters, Dianne Solomon of Wayland and Laura Grace of Alexandria, Va.; and a niece, Cara Solomon of Somerville.
