Marilyn Joyce (Joseph) Rosen, 80, of Holden, died Aug. 26 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Ruth Frances (Barsky) and J. Bernard Joseph. She graduated from Suitland High School, in Suitland, Md. She worked as a ballroom dance instructor at the Arthur Murray Dance Studios and as an office assistant for a team of 16 doctors for the federal government, later becoming a stay at home mom and a community volunteer. She is survived by two children, Cheryl Rosen and Scott Rosen, both of Worcester; two brothers, Rodney Joseph and his wife, Pauline, of Annapolis, Md., and Brian Joseph and his wife, Joanne, of Cape Coral, Fla.; a grandson, Eric Rainville and his wife, Jill, of Shrewsbury; a great-granddaughter, Dakota Rainville, of Shrewsbury; and her nieces,  nephews, and cousins.
