Harvey A. Jacobson, 80, of Worcester, died at the Jewish Healthcare Center Sept. 17. Born in Keene, N.H., he was the son of Samuel and Minna (Sher) Jacobson and lived in Worcester for 60 years moving to North Miami in 1997, and returning to Worcester two years ago. He attended the New England School of Accounting. He was an auctioneer and owned and operated H. A. Jacobson and Associates from 1982 until his retirement in 1997. He was a member of Level Lodge of Masons, the Worcester Probus Club and was a long time member of Temple Emanuel. He is survived by two sons, Steven Jacobson and his wife, Jo Hanah, and Andrew Jacobson and his wife, Cynthia, both of Charlotte, N.C.; and five grandchildren, Caitlin, Paige, Madeline, Maxwell and Samuel. He was predeceased by a brother, Milton Jacobson; and a sister, Shirley Morin.
