Celebrating the Nifty 90’s

SPRINGFIELD – On Dec. 22, Sen. Eric P. Lesser, Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno and Rep. Brian M. Ashe attended the Nifty 90s at the The Bobbi Levin Nifty 90’s Celebration, held annually at the Springfield Jewish Community Center. This year the event recognized seven individuals who celebrated their 90th birthday this year.

“I’m always honored to participate in this fun event,” said Sen. Lesser. “Turning 90 years old is an important milestone for members of our community. It is especially important for us to learn about their lives and help preserve the historic moments they have lived through.”

The Jewish Community Center honored members Jay Berger, Saul Finestone, Ramona O’Brien, Jerry Radding, Fredi Rosenthal, Doris Shea, and Virginia Utess during this year’s event.
