Heritage Academy Celebrates Earth Day!

Heritage Academy students experienced a hands-on and immersive version of Earth Day. The kindergarten and first grade classes learned about and planted seeds and will plant their seedlings in the school’s spring garden. The second and third graders pledged to protect the planet and helped clear out winter debris from the Heritage backyard, while the fourth and fifth graders researched and created displays and PowerPoints about endangered animals. Middle schoolers worked on projects concerned with topics such as recycling, solar power and the feasibility of living on Mars, in case our efforts to protect our planet might not be enough to sustain life on Earth…
