Panel Discussion on Six-Day War in Northampton

NORTHAMPTON – “The Six-Day War – 50 Years Later: The Enduring Impact on Israel and America,” a panel discussion will be held on Sunday, May 21, from 3-5:30 p.m. at Congregation B’nai Israel, 253 Prospect St.

The panelists will be Donna Robinson Divine, professor emerita, Smith College, and author of Exiled in the Homeland: Zionism and the Return to Mandate Palestine; Bethamie Horowitz, assistant professor, NYU, author of Connections and Journeys: Assessing Critical Opportunities for Enhancing Jewish Identity; and Lara Friedman, president of the Foundation for Middle East Peace.

The co-sponsors of the event are The Jewish Federation of Western Mass., Congregation B’nai Israel, Jewish Community of Amherst, Beit Ahavah, the Reform Synagogue of Greater Northampton, and J Street.
