Stanley T. Winer of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. and Westborough, formerly of Longmeadow, died April 6. He was the husband of Karen (Jessop) Winer. Born in Boston and raised in Newton, he was the son of the late Louis and Irene (Samuelson) Winer. He attended the University of Vermont and graduated in 1969 with a degree in Economics. He received his Master’s degree in Education from Springfield College in 1971. He began his work in the financial services industry in 1976, and in 1985, he formed The Winer Group. In 2000, he formed The Winer Levsky Group at UBS Financial Services where he was a senior vice president for Wealth Management. He was active in the Jewish community and various charities, including the Jimmy Fund. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Alyssa Silverman (James), Darcy Winer (Carrie Galhouse), and Meredith Taylor (Gregory); and his grandchildren, Cody Silverman, Jordan Silverman, Adam Silverman, Caleb Galhouse-Winer, Lily Taylor, Sydney Taylor, and MaKenzie Taylor. He was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn “Carol” Winer. Memorial contributions maybe made to the Jimmy Fund, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
