Evelyn (Jarger) Weiss, 89, of Surprise, Ariz., formerly of Worcester, died Oct. 2. She was the widow of Henry David Weiss. She was the daughter of the late Mary and Abraham Jarger. She and her husband owned and operated Henry’s Hobby House for 40 years. She was a member of Temple Emanuel Sinai of Worcester and Worcester Chapter of Hadassah. She is survived by a son, Stephen J. Weiss and his wife, Elizabeth of Goodyear, Ariz.; a granddaughter, Holly E. Weiss; two nephews, Melvyn Zarr and his wife, Gail, of Falmouth, Maine and Gerald Zarr and his wife, Christine, of Bethesda, Md.; and great-nieces and great-nephew, Jocelyn Rock, Zara Rock and Anthony Zarr.
