Myron Follett Jr., 77, of West Springfield, died Dec. 11 in Holyoke. He was the husband of Ellen Follett. The son of Myron and Rita (Redmond) Follett, he grew up in Springfield’s Forest Park neighborhood, graduating in 1958 from Technical High School. He enlisted in the Army in 1961, serving in the Signal Corp. Unit stationed in Korea. After his service concluded, he returned to Springfield where he graduated from American International College. He started his teaching career at Classical Junior High in Springfield and would go on to teach math for over three decades in Springfield public schools, retiring from Central High School in 2003. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Steven Follett and his wife, Caitlin, Mark Follett and his wife, Laura, and Lauren Olanoff and her husband, Jared; four grandchildren, Julien, Madeline, Adelaide, and Leah; a brother, Charles Follett; and a sister, Deborah Follett. He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Follett.
