Aileen Porter, 91, a lifelong resident of Worcester, died Jan. 21. She was the widow of David Porter. She graduated from Commerce High School, where she was known for her oratory skills, reciting poetry and performing theatrical roles. She excelled academically and graduated valedictorian of her 1944 high school class. Prior to her marriage, she worked for Jewish Social Services as a secretary. She is survived by a sister, Eunice Kushman; two daughters, Candace Porter, PhD, and Sherry Porter Shamash; three granddaughters, Ayelet Steinberg, Daphna Shamash and Kineret Shamash; and three great-grandchildren, Oshri, Mili and Noa Steinberg.
