The Gift of Passover

SPRINGFIELD – In just a month, Jews we will gather with families and friends to celebrate Passover and remember their journey of freedom from oppression.

The Jewish Family Service Matzah-Passover Fund provides a meaningful celebration of Passover to homebound seniors and others in the community with limited financial resources. With donations, JFS fills and distributes almost two hundred bags of kosher-for-Passover food to households in the Pioneer Valley and helps to sponsor more than 30 individuals to attend a seder at local synagogues.

If you or someone you know would like to receive non-perishable kosher for Passover food or attend a communal Seder, contact Galina Abashina, g.abashina@jfswm.org or (413) 455-1936, ext.106.

To make a tax-deductible donation to the JFS Matzah-Passover Appeal, send your check to Jewish Family Service, 15 Lenox St., Springfield, MA 01108 or give online at www.jfswm.org/donate.

For more information about JFS, visit www.jfswm.org or call (413) 737-2601.
