Eliot Beren, 92, formerly of Worcester, died on March 11. He was the husband of the late Rose Beren. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Louis and Mary Berinsky. Raised in Roxbury, he graduated from the Roxbury Memorial High School in 1943. He was a respected salesman, working until the age of 82. During his career, he won many sales awards for outstanding accomplishments. He is survived by two daughters, Ann (Caplin) Koenig of Windsor, Conn., and Sandi Beren Mahoney and her husband, Tom “Moe”, of Framingham; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Roulier, Joshua (Kate) Caplin, Kara (Jeffrey) Robinson, and Eric (Ilyse) Mahoney; and his 10 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary, Ryan, Rachel, Lily, Hannah, Ari, Corinne, Theo and Alex. He was predeceased by his brothers, Nate, Jack, Sam, and Edward; and a son in law, Harvey. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
