Body & Soul to celebrate Jewish and Black music

WORCESTER – On Thursday, March 15, the Central Mass. Black-Jewish Alliance will present, “Body & Soul: An American Bridge,” a night to celebrate the work of Jewish and Black Jazz musicians, held at Nick’s, 1245 Millbury St., at 7 p.m.

The evening will feature a special screening of the film “Body & Soul,” a documentary highlighting Jewish and Black Jazz music with a performance by Geoffrey Watson Oehling and friends, and an introduction to the film by Tom Reney, host of Jazz a La Mode on New England Public Radio.
