LYA students experience the Exodus

Turning the Nile into blood.

LONGMEADOW – Children at Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy (LYA) went back in time to ancient Egypt, dressed up like Hebrew slaves and meeting Pharoh and Moses. Together with Moses they asked for their freedom and then participated in zapping Pharoh with the ten plagues. The students were participating in an Out of Egypt original program designed by LYA educators in preparation for the Passover holiday.

During the program children enjoyed turning the Nile into blood, acting out the plagues and the splitting of the sea. The program was followed by eating the traditional foods of the seder meal.
