JHC Road Race set for Sept. 23

WORCESTER – Planning is underway for the Jewish Healthcare Center’s 15th annual “Home” Run to be held on Sunday, September 23.

This 5k fund-raising event, presented by Patrick Motors in memory of Miriam and Merle Patrick, begins and ends at the Healthcare Center starting at 10 a.m.

This year it is anticipated that more than 200 runners will participate, running on the new route of the 3.1-mile run/walk and a new short loop for walkers. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top runners, and prizes will also be awarded in all age categories.

A complimentary bagel brunch will be provided for all runners and their families.

The first 100 registrants will receive a free short sleeve tech t-shirt.

And this year participants can Run/Walk with their dogs.

In order for the Jewish Healthcare Center to continue the tradition of excellence that we have provided for over 100 years, the Center relies on participation in this community event and for donatioons of sponsorship.

In-Kind Sponsors will get their names on the back of the race t-shirts, the JHC’s winter newsletter and its social media pages.
