Muriel (Weinbaum) Tharler, 93, of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of Leominster, died Aug. 1. She was the widow of Stanley Tharler. She was born in Bronx, New York and was the daughter of Solomon and Sophie (Katz) Weinbaum. Having earned a full scholarship at Boston University’s School of Music, she played and taught piano for many years. She is survived by two sons, Steven and Gary; three grandchildren, Scott, Marni and Jen; and three great-grandchildren, Annabella, Caralyn and Stone. She was predeceased by a brother, Irwin Weinbaum.
